Here's a 3:08 video of a 15-year old girl giving a statement to Maryland law makers as they consider tougher gun control laws. She speaks very rapidly but clearly. I'm assuming she had a time limit and felt a need to get it all said.
You can't tell about the "politicians speechless" part since the video ends after the girl's statement. That could just be hype.
Most of what she has to say has been said before. One unique factor is that she'll be attending college on a shooting scholarship that she earned with her AR-15.
I'm not sure it's all pertinent. She and others make the comparison to shooting deaths in Chicago and Afghanistan, a war zone. I've never believed that was a strong argument. It's anecdotal at best. It's more pertinent that Chicago is our murder capital (by number, not rate) and doesn't use the laws already on the books to reduce crime there.
The video is okay viewing and has been viewed >1.5m times, but what's really entertaining is the >5k comments. There's some passionate argument going on in there. Much of it is uninformed argument. That's a national problem, as outspoken gun control advocates continue to demonstrate.
