"Mayors Against Illegal Guns" Are Criminals

During an informal presentation last week, I heard from a representative of the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF.org) that New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has apparently pledged to spend vast sums (~$600m) of his personal fortune to strengthen gun control in this country. In this pursuit, he has literally put himself in league with many convicted criminals who, because of their convictions, are not able to legally possess firearms. Who are they? They are members of Bloomberg's group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns. See the ad with the specific names, cities and crimes and the supporting article, below. Note that the crime "rate" of this group is higher than the national crime rate of licensed concealed carry citizens.

Another one bites the dust. Even more criminal charges associated with Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG). This time it's Marcus Hook, PA, Mayor James Schiliro.

I especially like these quotes: "...charged with false imprisonment, unlawful restraint, reckless endangerment, serving alcohol to a minor and other crimes, and he also allegedly used more than one gun in this incident, in which at least one shot was fired...With associates like this, I can understand why Bloomberg doesn’t trust people with guns."

And yet another one bites the dust. Was Gainesville, FL, Mayor Craig Lowe jealous of the attention given Marcus Hook, PA, Mayor James Schiliro?

This final paragraph from the article seems to be gaining weight, doesn't it?

“Mayor Bloomberg should be more interested in the conduct of MAIG members than trying to pry into the personal lives of gun owners or soda drinkers,” said Second Amendment Foundation executive vice president Alan Gottlieb in a statement. "If anybody needs a background check, it would be a MAIG member.”
