Colorado: Lawsuits by People Attacked in 'Gun Free Zones'

I've been wondering for the past week when this would come up. This appears to be the suggestion of a citizen, not proposed legislation, but it's worth talking about. I hadn't thought about it as suing the "gun free zone" properties, but the legislators? Certainly. If you deny someone their right to protect themselves, should you be held accountable legally and financially? I love the parallel to the legislative proposals of trying to hold the gun manufacturers responsible for the criminal users of their products. Right back at you, lawmakers. Using your logic, you should be held accountable for the acts of others who are out of control.
