Multiple Home Invaders, Armed, in Houston

May 16, 2013

Three home invaders with at least one of them armed. I wouldn't want to be limited to 10 bullets in defense of myself or my home in this scenario. Would you?

According to the story, the intruders shot first and missed. The resident shot back and hit one of the intruders twice. It doesn't say how many rounds were fired. The scenario plays out again - multiple intruders / attackers. Two rounds hit and the criminal still left the house under his own power. What if they were all armed and all shooting? Would 10 be enough? Can you afford to miss with any? (Missing a moving target when the adrenaline is pumping is very common, even among police officers and military service members.)
