Here's a 12-page spread that appeared in The Washington Times in February, placed by the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF). In our fast-paced world, this is already old. It contains 23 articles and some ads, dated in January and early February, that support 2nd Amendment rights and criticize the gun control campaign. I've delayed posting it until I had read through it all myself (as I've done with most of the articles and videos I post and comment on). Because it's a large collection, it's heavier reading than most of what I post here. I finally got through it today.
I've already commented on some of these arguments and issues but some is new and the articles themselves are new. I particularly liked the article entitled "Owning firearms is a First Amendment exercise, too!" on page 3. In it is the sentence, "Among firearms owners, talk of gun bans and attempts to limit one’s ability to defend himself or herself against multiple attackers by limiting the number of rounds they can have in a pistol or rifle magazine turns gun owners into political activists." I guess that applies to me. The current attack on our 2nd Amendment rights has turned me to action. I have been FAR more outspoken and FAR more politically active, in terms of writing my law makers, about these issues than about anything in the past, and probably more now than I have collectively about everything in the past.
