I wonder how Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut feels about politicians interfering in businesses conducting legal business between law abiding entities. You know, like Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel abusing his political power by trying to pressure banks from doing business with firearms industries and, oh, Senator Murphy (himself) interfering in a standing sponsorship relationship between NASCAR and the NRA. I guess he thinks it should be a "my way or the highway" kind of thing. It's okay for people and entities sharing his agenda to put pressure on the NRA and the firearms industries but not for other law abiding entities to support them or even to do normal business with them. Is this what the Democratic Party calls leadership? Seems a lot like bullying to me.

Democratic Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut, unsuccessful at getting NASCAR to drop NRA sponsorship of a race that was arranged pre-Newtown, requested that the race not be broadcast. This makes at least 3 recent instances of interference by 2 Democratic politicians in lawful business relationships regarding the gun industry.
