Illinois Politician Wants War With NRA
February 27, 2013
So a not even yet confirmed Representative from Illinois, Robin Kelly, "suggested a head-on war against the National Rifle Association". Now, there's another good use for Congress' time and money, and potentially an illegal one. Should Congress, or a political party, be waging "war" against a lobbying and litigating group? One that's been in existence for over 100 years, promotes responsible firearms ownership and provides training to those pursuing it, and narrowly supports our Constitutionally provided 2nd Amendment? Does she want to go to war against the ACLU too?
Let's hope she follows Rep Jesse Jackson Jr one more step. (For those who don't know, Jackson Jr is the latest Illinois politician convicted of crime. Two governors, 1 US Rep, 1 Chicago mayor and who knows how many others.)
